When Josh first laid eyes on Kim, she had no idea that a beautiful adventure was about to begin. Their love quickly blossomed into something serious and before they knew it, they were welcoming their baby girl into this world. The day came where Josh asked the question that would change their relationship forever, “Will you Marry me?” On a radiant day in September, temperatures forgiving, family and friends gathered in front of the camera of the thrilled Buchanan Photography team to celebrate the moment they had been longing to share together! 

The morning was all celebration and laughter, decked out in silk robes, the bride and her bridal-party started off the day with mimosas and a dance party straight out of the 90s. Steaming dresses and hurrying around to gather all the final details needed to dress Kim to the nine, they  patiently waited as the bride slipped on her breathtaking gown, and gasped at her beauty. Meanwhile, the groom and his groomsmen cracked up as the best man, who was filled with jokes and laughter, kept them in a lite mood.  The men all lined up to quickly capture some photos together before the official first look as the sun began cascading along the outer edges of the venue.

As the groom swung open the gate he saw her standing there, radiant and glowing in her white gown. As a smile consumed his face he rushed towards her with a deep embrace. It was now time to say goodbye to their engaged status and hello to Mr + Mrs.

The bride was escorted by her father down the aisle of beautiful outdoor ceremony area of the Bella Rose Estate. Meanwhile the monsoon winds were picking up in force and everyone looked worried as the ominous clouds began to roll in. The worry all stopped when the bride descended down the aisle towards her groom and the monsoon held off. 

The romance of the floral arrangements by flowers by Jodi, was perfectly accompanied by the elegant and bold lines of the cake from a Piece of Cake. The tables were eloquently decorated in blush and cream as nostalgic handmade place cards finished off the table napkins. 

Surrounded by dimmed lights and the scent of freshly rained on desert, the festivities carried on well into the night. The toasts from the maid of honor and best man were inspiring, choking the bride up from the heartfelt messages. Celebration was added on top of celebration as young and old gathered towards the dance floor to dance the night away and celebrate these two joining together as one.

As our time came to an end, the party continued on. Surrounded by friends and family, their life together as husband and wife began. We are so thrilled Kim and Josh asked us to document their big day. I can’t wait to see where life takes them!
